The Artful Tester — The Journey To Co-creation

When we don’t see our experiences or hopes represented within the stories we tell one another, we may feel that they are insignificant and become discouraged. There is intense pressure on us as individuals to succeed, along pre-defined routes. What I’ve realised is that I don’t have to do this on my own.

Community Thoughts: Certifications

Certifications have been around for various software testing jobs and roles for a while. One of the more popular topics of discussion on The Club, our software testing community forum, has been around certifications. There are three certifications discussed.

Testing Ask Me Anything — Quality Engineering

On Tuesday 13th March at 8pm UK time, we have a live AMA webinar focusing on Quality Engineering with Anne-Marie Charrett. What is Quality Engineering? How is it different to QA? Favourite Retrospective Formats

I enjoy running and facilitating retrospectives — I think it’s a good way to dig into larger problems that tend to get lost in the day to day of scrums and deadlines and work. What do you like/not like about them? How do you do yours?

Requirements (Re)Engineering — Featured TestSphere Card

On the club, we’ll feature a card from the TestSphere deck for people to write their stories about every month. I challenge you to take a few minutes to think about your experiences with the featured card.

Hindsight Lessons About Automation: Why Automation? — Mr.Slavchev

I started the first post with coding and I made the first and most common mistake that everyone doing automation does — diving in explanations how to do automation, instead of trying to explain why automation is important and beneficial for us

How To Get More Testing Done — The Life Of One Man

In my posts, I emphasise doing the most important things and asking the why. However, I have not addressed the fact if I should be doing these things at once or together.
