With so much going on we don’t want you to miss a thing!

March has passed in an absolute whirlwind. We have an excellent time at TestBash on top of our regular online events! As always we’re on top of plans for our upcoming events and the content this month has been top notch! We’ve gathered up everything that has gone live, as well as those upcoming events, in this one monthly email!

The Club

A few selected discussions from The Club that we thought you might find interesting.

  • What is the “Definition of Done”? posted by heather_reid. A commonly agreed definition of done is pretty hard to achieve but have you managed to at least get a common definition within your workplace?
  • Memory leak and utilisation testing posted by gemma.hill1987. You’ve had that sinking feeling that something isn’t as efficient as it could be, maybe there’s a leak, do you have any tips for testing memory leak and utilisation on a web app?
  • Software Test Plan: What Should Be In It? posted by heather_reid. This is something that will depend on your situation, audience and possibly even your tech stack but what advice would you give about what should or shouldn’t be in a test plan?
  • Victimised — Featured TestSphere Card posted by berenvd. Something went wrong and you’re the one set up to take the blame, what’s your story?

The Club Ninja

Each month we select one of our Club users to be our Ninja of the Month. We’re delighted to announce that Andy Carrington-Chappell is our Club Ninja for March!

The Dojo

Snapshot of all the content produced for The Dojo throughout March! You’ll find articles, podcasts and videos. We have a mix of free and pro membership content — as you might expect, as a pro member you have access to all content created.

  • A new podcast with The Super Testing Bros: A Podcast Workshop — Goal Setting with Tom Griffin and Mike Clarke. We’re trying something new with this podcast, it’s been designed to be a follow along ‘podcast workshop’. We’re joined by Tom Griffin and Mike Clarke discussing goal setting. Ready to set some goals?
  • Another episode of Testers’ Island Discs: Episode 11 — Karo Stoltzenburg. With discussions about creating safe environments for learning, generating test ideas and avoiding cognitive biases in our testing, whilst also finding time to hear a range of song selections
